The last letter is about the best anchorage, a quiet respite after the perfect sailing day, falling into bed tired and happy and ready to sleep. It’s those few minutes laying awake listening to the wind and water interact with the boat. Your mind calms down, eyes close, a happy sigh.
I’ve saved the best for last because it is the first of my wishes. Do you dream of this? It is my dream too.
That place exists.
If you have experienced this I envy you..
I hope to meet you there some evening for a sundowner, or perhaps a game among friends. I want to hear your story before heading off to sleep.
To all the other dreamers, I’ll meet you there.
